Slow and steady definitely wins the race in a lot of the campaign scenarios, as you'll want steady ride and shop profits before you can really start building big things like rollercoasters.įor those not interested in the campaign mode, the sandbox mode has provided me hours and hours of fun throughout my life.
Balancing the amount of money they start you with is a decent challenge on some levels, especially those that start you with a loan that needs payed off. The initial campaign is one of my favorite tycoon game campaigns, steadily rising in difficulty while also using different levels to teach you mechanics and strategies that will be useful as you get farther and farther. The waterpark expansion and campaign are really fun though and added a nice second challenge after the initial campaign. The expansion packs add hours of new things to do, though for me personally I don't do much with the zoo stuff since I'd rather just play Zoo Tycoon.
